I am Dani,
a multidisciplinary
student & aspiring
computer scientist
based in Amherst
and Cape Cod, MA.

In this position, I speak with prospective students of the honors college and their families, giving them information sessions and answering any questions they have about the college. This includes speaking at university open house events. I also act as a receptionist in the office of the dean and other honors faculty.

This seasonal position as a receptionist at a historical inn has given me extensive customer service experience, as well as experience with the hospitality industry. I have also gained experience with the inn's reservation software, which has given me some insight into the software development process.

I am in my sophomore year of my undergraduate degree. As part of my core computer science curriculum, I am learning about programming methodology and probability. Aside from this, I am currently committed to learning how to perform interdisciplinary research, particularly in my Scientific Writing course. I am also eager to become involved in a research lab on campus.
